              Manuscript of a poem with the original title "Julian in Eleusis" (emended in pencil to "Julian at the Mysteries"), written in ink on both sides of a ruled sheet. The title has been underlined and there is a line in red ink at the end of the poem. Cancellations and emendations; notes in pencil. Number "176" at top right of the recto and number "177" at top left of the verso.

              Handwritten diary from Cavafy's trip to Greece during the period 13 June-5 August 1901. It is written in English, on 31 sheets of various sizes, among which letterheads of the Khedivial Mail Steamship Company, the Grand Hotel d'Angleterre in Athens, the Grand Hotels of Faliron and Patras as well as the Austrian Lloyd (Oesterreichischer Lloyd). It also includes a draft plan of the central part of the city of Patras (part of the entry of on 31 July), with the street names in Greek. The diary contains daily entries by Cavafy, in which he describes his trip by boat to and from Alexandria as well as his activities, acquaintances, social encounters and impressions from Athens and the other places he visited.

              Manuscript of the prose text "A Few Pages on the Sophists" on both sides of three ruled sheets and on the recto of a fourth sheet (its verso is blank). Footnotes and bibliographical references on five pages. Only page 7 is numbered; at its bottom the signature "C.P.C.". Cancellations and emendations. The four sheets are enclosed in a ruled double sheet notepaper, with the handwritten title. The title has been underlined and there is a line in red ink at the end of the text.
