The author refers to the re-opening of the school of Konstantinos Papazis, describing in detail the classes he attends and their syllabus. He comments on persons from his friendly circle and the broader social circle of Alexandria as well as on events related to them; he also expresses his interest in rumours of a war between England and Turkey. Notes on the demotic and katharevousa, on the declination of certain nouns, and references to periodicals. Extensive excerpt from Xenopoulos' article in the Panathinaia (issue 56, 31/1/1903) regarding the language of Psicharis and Palamas. Copied verses by other poets. Some of the notes are written in English. Four pages torn off from a 1895 issue of Parnassos. Extensive use of abbreviations.
