The title has been underlined and there is a line in red ink below the poem. On the verso, part of the poem "Waiting for the Barbarians», a note with the title and a reference regarding its publication (Lagoudakis publishing, Alexandria 1904). The text on the verso has been crossed out. The handwritten note "Not for publication. But may remain here" on a separate piece of paper attached to the sheet.
