Calas proposes Cavafy's poems be published in the United States, translated by Mavrogordatos and with an introduction by Yourcenar. He refers Singopoulo to the publishing house so as to arrange the financial matters of the publication. He asks that a photograph of Cavafy be sent and refers to common acquaintances of theirs.
