Handwritten prose text ("In Broad Daylight") on three double sheet notepapers. Pages 5-6 and 8-12 are numbered. Few cancellations and emendations in various parts. The three double sheet papers are enclosed in another one, with the handwritten title on the first page. The title has been underlined and there is a line in red ink at the end of the text.

Handwritten letter by John Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy on the recto of six ruled letterheads of R. J. Moss & Co., Alexandria. Sheets 2-6 are numbered at top right. Family and financial issues are raised, as well as poetry, Cavafy's genealogical notes, the political situation in Alexandria and Egypt in general. Commentary on poems composed by John.

Handwritten letter by Mike Ralli to Cavafy in a bifolio, with notes on all sides. Reference to the moving from "Antoniadi's house" to the author's new residence as well as to his engagement in hunting during his stay in Ramli. Commentary on people and events related to the social circle of Alexandria. He describes the way he acquires books. (Ramli)

Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy from Hyères, France, on all sides of a bifolio. It is a reply to a letter by the poet, dated 24 July. Paul comments on issues apparently mentioned by C. P. Cavafy, such as his absence from his work and his health problems, and describes his own situation in detail. He also refers to people they both know in Alexandria and informs him of a book he published as well as of his intention to broaden his journalistic activity. Of note is the use of English words and phrases in the flow of written discourse. (Hyères)

Handwritten notes by Cavafy, some with date indications (1932 and 1933), on pieces of paper of various sizes, letterheads of the Cosmopolite Hotel in Athens, the hospital of the Greek Community of Alexandria and on advertisement brochures from Alexandria. Some of the notes are addressed to Alekos and Rica Singopoulo; other notes refer to poems or titles of poems of his. Two of the notes pertain to his health. A total of 23 pieces of paper inside a handmade folder of hard paper, entitled "From the last manuscripts of C.P.C.", in a handwriting other than the poet's (most probably Rica Singopoulo's). Interpolated words and phrases in English. They are notes through which Cavafy communicated when he was longer able to speak, due to the tracheostomy he underwent in 1932 in Athens.
