Emmanouil Th. Grigoriou was a journalist. He died at a young age. In 1947, a history book of his was published; it focused on the activity of the Bulgarians in western Macedonia during the Nazi occupation (1941-1944).

Gerasimos Grigoris (1907-1985) was born on the island of Leucas (Lefkada, Greece). He studied at the University of Athens Faculty of Philosophy, also attending courses in painting. He worked as a professional journalist. He published short stories, translations of Greek dramas as well as studies. He was awarded the state prizes for prose writing (1959) and for novels (1964) and was also decorated by the Academy of Athens in 1977.

Theodoros A. Griva-Gardikiotis was a diplomat and a writer. He was born in 1905 and died in 1982. He translated poems by Cavafy into French and published poetry collections himself.

Nikos Hayer-Boufidis (1899-1950) was a graduate of the Lycée Français of Cairo and then settled in Athens (Greece) to work for the National Bank of Greece. He published in various journals (including Grammata and Alexandrini Techni). He wrote poetry and prose; his work has been influenced by Cavafy. He took part in the Greek Resistance and was prosecuted for his political ideals during the civil war. In addition to his real name, he also used the pseudonym Aris Isandros.
