The poet expresses his satisfaction regarding an article by Forster on Cavafy and the publication of two of his poems in the The Criterion. Reference to Bonamy Dobree and T. S. Eliot. Handmade folder of paperboard folded into a bifolio. The first page indicates that it contains correspondence with The Hogarth Press publishing house, letters by P. Anastasiadis, G. Valassopoulo and others, and press clippings as well as clippings from journals in which Cavafy's poems had been published. The list of contents has not been written by the poet (most probably by Rica Singopoulo). Second folder of larger dimensions with the indication "Translations - Correspondence with 'The Hogarth Press' publishing house", written by G. A. Papoutsakis.

On page 79, an advertisement of Forster's works and of an issue of the The Criterion, in which English translation of the poem "Ithaca" by Cavafy has been published. The handwritten note "Sic semper" ("Always like that", obviously by Forster) in ink in the margin. Accompanied by envelope addressed to Cavafy. The mail rubber stamp provides the date 21/7/1924.

Two handwritten copies of a receipt for £1,10 from Cavafy to the publisher of The Criterion for the publication of the poem "Ithaca" in the July issue; accompanied by two envelopes: one to the journal and one to Cavafy, with the journal's logo. The second envelope, originally sent to Τ. S. Eliot; the latter's name and address have been crossed out and replaced by hand with Cavafy's address in Alexandria. The copies of the receipts are handwritten by the poet.
