              Handwritten list with chronological indications (1891-1912) and poem titles, on 13 pieces of paper of various sizes. Several titles are abbreviated. Some chronological records are indicated as "rewriting" and are accompanied by the title of the poem to which they refer. Cancellations and emendations throughout the list. Apart from three parts of the item, the rest bear writing (by hand or printed) on either side. The versos of five parts of the item have a different theme (not a chronological list). Explicitly and in squence according to the recto: verso (F5-Φ15) with fragment of a manuscript poem (probably "In an Old Book"), verso (F5-Φ13) with fragment of a manuscript poem (probably a version of "A Love") in handwriting different from that of the poet; verso with fragment of a printed money order card dated 13/7/1893; verso (F5-Φ8) with a short letter by Aristeidis Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy, dated 3/7/1894; verso (F5-Φ6) with arithmetic operation; verso (F5-Φ4) with fragment of abbreviated text and verso with fragment of a bid submission card.

              Handwritten drafts of poems on both sides of a ruled sheet and on one side of part of a second sheet. The poem "Epitaph" on the recto of the first sheet. The title has been written by Cavafy, the poem by another person. Emendations by the poet in some of the verses. Note at top right, date ("June 1893") at bottom right, both by Cavafy. The poem "Good and Bad Weather" on the verso of the same sheet; the handwriting is not Cavafy's.
              Fragment of a poem has been crossed out on one side of part of sheet; the handwriting is not Cavafy's. Part of the poem "Nous n’osons plus chanter les roses" on the other side. The title has been written by Cavafy, but the text of the poem has been written by a different person. The verso was originally pasted on the verso of the first sheet (and thus the poems "Good and Bad Weather" and "Nous n’osons plus chanter les roses" had been concealed.
              Cavafy's handwritten notes on one side of a sheet and on both sides of a second sheet as well as on the verso of a printed broadsheet with the crossed out fragment of the poem "From the School of the Renowned Philosopher". Handmade folder with the handwritten title "Epitaph of a Samian" and the date "Oct. ’25".
