Handwritten draft letter by Cavafy from Alexandria to a friendly person referred to as Grigoris, on a ruled sheet It is a reply letter of thanks, with comments on the intellectual life of Alexandria. References to the philological association Nea Zoi and the journal it publishes, as well as to the poetry collection by Georgios Drosinis "Fotera skotadia". Cancellations and emendations; the text continues on the verso.

Handwritten letter by Marios Vaianos to Cavafy in a bifolio, accompanied by the printed programme of the lectures in the "Apollo" theatre of Athens. Reference to an event which included a lecture by J. Barthe D'Yvermont and recitation of poems by Cavafy ("In the Month of Hathor", "Tomb of Iases", etc.) as well as a publication in the newspaper Proia. Handmade folder of hard paper with the handwritten title "Linguistic" as well as handwritten notes on papers of various sizes, with remarks and quotes of linguistic content: Cavafy's comments on his own poems and on works by other authors. Notes on the demotic and katharevousa, on the declination of certain nouns, and references to periodicals. Extensive excerpt from Xenopoulos' article in the Panathinaia (issue 56, 31/1/1903) regarding the language of Psicharis and Palamas. Copied verses by other poets. Some of the notes are written in English. Four pages torn off from a 1895 issue of Parnassos. Extensive use of abbreviations.

Handmade paperboard folder with the handwritten note "Remarks on the repeated identical syllables in our language". The handwriting is not the poet's (it is most likely Rica Singopoulo's). The folder contains handwritten notes by Cavafy on nine sheets, four double sheet notepapers and two printed broadsheets. Quotes from poems by Palamas, Nirvanas, Solomos, Gryparis etc, as well as from folk songs and prose texts. Bibliographical references. The two broadsheets, bearing the same fragment of a poem by Cavafy, were printed in 1920. Also, reference to a 1925 print.

The text contains the date indication 29/6/1904 (on the 4th page) and could, on the basis of the context, be dated in this year.

Manuscript by Alekos Singopoulo on the recto of 43 sheets and papers of various sizes. Blank verso. Page numbering 1 to 44, corrected on some of the pages. Pages 25-28 are missing, as well as the end of the text. The papers include: clipping from the newspaper Nea Zoi (1912) with poems by Malakasis and Ugo Foscolo, pp. 153-154; clipping from an issue of the O Noumas (1920) with fragment of a poem; the poem "Ithaca", printed on two sheets in 1917; printed broadsheet with Cavafy's poem "Dangerous" (1919). Singopoulo's text is preceded by an unnumbered sheet with the poem "Fthinoporini Fysi". This is the text of a lecture delivered by Singopoulo on 10/6/1920 at the hall of the Greek Secondary School Alumni Association (of the Averoff Secondary School and the Salvageios School of Commerce), on the work by seven Modern Greek poets.
