He briefly mentions his news and makes positive comments on the novels Lothair and Coningsby by B. Disraeli, remembering their mother. Comments on remarks apparently made by Cavafy in previous letters and expression of the disappointment of the author for the fact that he does not confide personal matters in him. Information about people from the broader social circle of Alexandria as well as about facts related to the life in the city (criminal trial, procession of a dead person with honours paid to him).
