Part of CAVAFY, C. P. FONDS
Autograph handwritten copy of a letter by Cavafy on the first three pages of a bifolio. The last page is blank. The recipient, whose name is Theodore, accepts the poet's wishes on his engagement to miss Ralli. Cavafy wishes to meet the coupe in Egypt, should they finally decide to return there. It is most probably Theodore Casdagli, who had been engaged to Aikaterini Ralli (1897).
