Typewritten copy of a letter by Alekos Singopoulo to Leonard Woolf on the recto of two sheets. Blank versos. The sender informs the editor about his objections to some of the terms of the proposed contract regarding the publication of Cavafy's work. Handwritten signature. The letter is accompanied by a bank receipt for the despatch of ₤50 to The Hogarth Press for the expenses of the English translation of the poems as well as by a post office receipt.
