He refers to the German translation of Cavafy's poems by Helmut von den Steinen and to his difficulty in communicating with the Singopoulos, thinking they are not interested in the publication in question.

The sender briefly comments on Cavafy's work as well as on the German translations of selected poems, which he did himself. The letter is not dated. However, on the basis of the context and his previous letter, it should be dated to 1938. (Athens)
