Catherine (Kitty) Ionides (1874-1960) was the daughter of C. P. Cavafy’s first cousin, doctor John Cavafy and Maria (Marigo) Ralli. She was born and lived in England. She was married in London, in 1896, to Theodore Henry Ionides (1866-1936), also a doctor, and had a daughter and a son.
