He thanks him for the despatch of a journal issue and comments on its contents (mainly works by British poets). He sends his poem "One of Their Gods".               Handwritten notes by Cavafy on both sides of two sheets. The poet copies excerpts from Greek and foreign literary works, both prose and poetic, with similarities among them. Most quotes are written in English and French, and some in Greek. Bibliographical references; abbreviations. The notes are placed inside a four-page folder of paperboard; the title "Coincidences of Similarities in Literary Works" is written by Cavafy in the first page. The remaining pages are blank.
