Reference to the matter of his eyesight and to the book How to use our eyes [and how to preserve them by the aid of spectacles] by J. Browning, with whom he is in correspondence. He expresses satisfaction for his business with a foreign publishing house (Routledge); he mentions, inter alia, the work "Theodora" by Kl. Ragkavis.
