Handmade folder of paperboard folded into a bifolio. The first page indicates that it contains correspondence with The Hogarth Press publishing house, letters by P. Anastasiadis, G. Valassopoulo and others, and press clippings as well as clippings from journals in which Cavafy's poems had been published. The list of contents has not been written by the poet (most probably by Rica Singopoulo). Second folder of larger dimensions with the indication "Translations - Correspondence with 'The Hogarth Press' publishing house", written by G. A. Papoutsakis.

Press clipping of pages 79-80 from The Spectator. On page 79, an advertisement of Forster's works and of an issue of the The Criterion, in which English translation of the poem "Ithaca" by Cavafy has been published. The handwritten note "Sic semper" ("Always like that", obviously by Forster) in ink in the margin. Accompanied by envelope addressed to Cavafy. The mail rubber stamp provides the date 21/7/1924.

Handwritten list of books and periodicals, entitled "Taken by Peridis" and written on twelve sheets; they are all numbered at top right of the recto. Among them, a volume with translations by John Cavafy and a large number of issues of Greek and foreign newspapers and journals. It is obviously material borrowed by Michalis Peridis from the remnants of Cavafy's belongings.
