Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ9). The title "C. P. Cavafy Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1919-1929" on the printed cover. The first date (initially "1916") has been corrected by the poet, and the second is handwritten. The same details are repeated on the title page, on which, however, the date is correct ("1919"). A blank sheet has most likely been cut off. On the first blank page, handwritten dedication by Marios Vaianos to Angelos Troupakis in red pencil, dated "1.7.30". The collection consists of bound printed broadsheets and contains sixty-one poems. The poems are numbered at top right, in print or by hand, occasionally corrected by the poet. Handwritten cancellations and emendations by Cavafy in some of the poems. The collection also contains a printed folding sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order. The title of the last poem is handwritten by Cavafy. The broasheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1925-1929. On some of them there is full date of printing and on some others the date of first print. Accompanied by signed certificate and kept in a box made of hard fabric-lined paperboard.

A total of 23 pieces of paper inside a handmade folder of hard paper, entitled "From the last manuscripts of C.P.C.", in a handwriting other than the poet's (most probably Rica Singopoulo's). Interpolated words and phrases in English. They are notes through which Cavafy communicated when he was longer able to speak, due to the tracheostomy he underwent in 1932 in Athens.
