            Handwritten diary from Cavafy's trip to Greece during the period 13 June-5 August 1901. It is written in English, on 31 sheets of various sizes, among which letterheads of the Khedivial Mail Steamship Company, the Grand Hotel d'Angleterre in Athens, the Grand Hotels of Faliron and Patras as well as the Austrian Lloyd (Oesterreichischer Lloyd). It also includes a draft plan of the central part of the city of Patras (part of the entry of on 31 July), with the street names in Greek. The diary contains daily entries by Cavafy, in which he describes his trip by boat to and from Alexandria as well as his activities, acquaintances, social encounters and impressions from Athens and the other places he visited.

He comments on works he is reading or which have already been discussed in the correspondence between them. He refers to Cavafy's intention to proceed with some publication, asking for more information and characterising the issue -which he appears to know- interesting. He mentions the bombardment of Alexandria in relation to the losses suffered by Cavafy in books and manuscripts. He urges him to return to Egypt, describing the entertainment possibilities there.             Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy on both sides of two sheets. Paul expresses his thanks to the poet, who sent him a photograph of their mother. In the largest part of the letter refers to his health, comments on people he has met in Alexandria and elsewhere as well as on various events. He requests to receive the newspaper The Egyptian Gazette, also mentioning La Réforme. He describes his living conditions and repeats his warm feelings for his two brothers. Of note is the use of interpolated English words and phrases.

            Handwritten note on behalf of the Processing Office of the newspaper Konstantinoupolis on a postal card to Cavafy, with notes on both sides. It refers to the publication of a text by Cavafy ("Traces of Greek Thought in Shakespeare") in the newspaper and the despatch of copies. The card bears printed details (in French and Turkish, in the Arabic alphabet), stamps of postal services (Istanbul; Alexandria); the name of the recipient and his address are handwritten in French.

            Handwritten notes by Rica Singopoulo on the recto of eight sheets. Blank versos, except for the one of the fourth sheet. All sheets are numbered 1 to 8 at top right. Biographical notes, pertaining to the life, habits and social encounters of Cavafy. Also, information about the members of his family (parents and siblings). It appears that the notes were written after the poet's death and the information comes from Singopoulo's own knowledge as well as from the remains of Cavafy's belongings. Certain inaccuracies are observed, such as the poet's date of birth (1865 instead of 1863).
