Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy from Hyères, France, on two sheets. The letter is written in parts, given that –as the author clarifies– the second part is added on the same date, but after the composition of the first was completed. Paul expresses his concern about the interruption of the correspondence between the two brothers -there are details regarding the dates of the last letters– which is restored in the second part of the letter. Paul finally receives a letter by C. P. Cavafy on the same day. Reference to individuals from their family circle, and mention of his acquaintance with a man of Greek origin in Hyères, who had served in Egypt.
