Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy from France to C. P. Cavafy. The text continues on the verso. Reference to the social circle of Alexandria, with commentary on particular individuals. Paul thanks his brother and wishes him for 1914. Of note is the use of English and French words and phrases in the flow of written discourse. Handwritten note in pencil in the margin, regarding the dating of the text ("Jan.. 1914?").
