Handwritten letter by Theodore K. Rodocanachi to his brother, George, on one side of a letterhead. The sender congratulates the recipient on his success in the university exams and informs him that he sent the letter via his friend, C. P. Cavafy. Theodore asks his brother to show Cavafy around during his short stay in Marseille. The letter is accompanied by an envelope with the brand “Rodocanachi & Co., Alexandria” and George’s address in Marseille. A small travel guidebook is enclosed from a restaurant in Marseille, “Photo Guide de Marseille offert par Restaurant des Provencaux”.
