Apart from three parts of the item, the rest bear writing (by hand or printed) on either side. The versos of five parts of the item have a different theme (not a chronological list). Explicitly and in squence according to the recto: verso (F5-Φ15) with fragment of a manuscript poem (probably "In an Old Book"), verso (F5-Φ13) with fragment of a manuscript poem (probably a version of "A Love") in handwriting different from that of the poet; verso with fragment of a printed money order card dated 13/7/1893; verso (F5-Φ8) with a short letter by Aristeidis Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy, dated 3/7/1894; verso (F5-Φ6) with arithmetic operation; verso (F5-Φ4) with fragment of abbreviated text and verso with fragment of a bid submission card.

Handwritten chronological table containing poems of the period August 1891 - 1925 period, in five loose double sheet notepapers. The right half of the blank second sheet of the fourth notepaper has been cut off. The last page of the fifth notepaper is blank.

Handwritten list on two separate large-size sheets. The title on the recto of the first, with cancellation over the word "Miscellaneous" and the first part of the list on the verso. The list continues on both sides of the second sheet. Cancellations and emendations.

Handwritten notes by Rica Singopoulo on seven sheets and three double sheet notepapers. The notes pertain to Cavafy's life and to the members of his family (mainly his mother and brothers). Some of the information recorded derives from the family correspondence as well as from the remnants of the poet's belongings.

Manuscripts of poems and attached typewritten note. On both sides of a sheet, the poems "Oedipus" and "Eternity". Page numbers are indicated, "48" on the recto, "49" on the verso. On the recto, a note pertaining to the publication of the poem "Oedipus" and date indication ("4 Febr. '96"). On the verso, the poem "Eternity" has been crossed out. The titles have been underlined and there is a line in red ink below each poem. Typewritten note on a separate piece of paper attached to the sheet: "Not for publication, but may remain here".

On the same side, the note "Unknown good poems" in the handwriting of Rica Singopoulo. The list is on the second and third pages. Cancellations and emendations as well as numerical indications.

Handwritten list of books and periodicals, entitled "Taken by Peridis" and written on twelve sheets; they are all numbered at top right of the recto. Among them, a volume with translations by John Cavafy and a large number of issues of Greek and foreign newspapers and journals. It is obviously material borrowed by Michalis Peridis from the remnants of Cavafy's belongings.
