Archivist's note
Rare document from the collection of the Music Library of Greece "Lilian Voudouri" of the Friends of Music Society.
The letters by Mitropoulos originally formed part of the Cavafy fonds, as it is made apparent by the attendant shots of the microfilm made in 1963 by G. P. Savvidis. The letters were donated to Music Library of Greece "Lilian Voudouri" before the fonds came into possession of the Onassis Foundation.
