On one side of the first sheet, the title "The Funeral of Sarpedon", note on the publication of the poem (in Skokos' Ethnikon Imerologion), emendations and variations in some of the verses, all written by Cavafy and crossed out. At the top of the page, two crossed out verses of a poem and number "115" at right. On the other side of the sheet, part of the poem "The Mimiambs of Herodas", written by another person. Cancellations and emendations by Cavafy. Small paper with note by the poet (emendation of four verses) initially pasted on the middle of the page. On one side of the second sheet, the continuation of the previous poem with cancellations, emendations and notes by Cavafy. Number "117" at top right; the date indication "Novem. 1892" at bottom right. Initially affixed over the middle of the page, a piece of paper with a variation of the last stanza of the poem, handwritten by Cavafy. The other side of the sheet is blank. Part of a poem on one side of the third sheet, which has not been written by Cavafy. Cancellations and emendations, handwritten by Cavafy. This side of the sheet had been initially affixed on the blank side of the second sheet. On the second page of the third sheet, the poem "Azure Eyes", written by Cavafy. The blank side of the fourth sheet had been initially affixed on the second page of the previous sheet (and, consequently, covered the poem "Azure Eyes"). On the other side of the last sheet, the poem "Alexandrian Merchant", written by Cavafy. Indicated date ("Apr. 1893") and notes by the poet in pencil, below the text.

Handwritten text by Rica Singopoulo on the recto of thirteen sheets from a notepad. Blank versos. Seven sheets have been torn off the notepad. Rica Singopoulo's notes pertain to the history of the poet's paternal and maternal family, for the members of which is provided all the information she collected from the poet himself as well as from his notes. Extensive reference to the life of the poet and that of his brothers. Cancellations and emendations.

Handwritten notes on both sides of two ruled sheets and on the verso of part of a printed medium with a fragment of the poem "Alexandrian Kings". Cancellations and emendation, some in ink. Pages 2-4 are numbered. Comments by Cavafy on the literary production of the Greeks in Egypt.

Handwritten letter by Timothée Glückmann to Cavafy on both sides of a sheet. The author asks for Cavafy's assistance in order to acquire his works for study. He comments that this is the second letter he sends him, and refers, among other things, to the work of A. Kampanis History of Modern Greek Literature as well as to the journal Alexandrini Techni. Accompanied by the envelope which contained the letter. (Moscow)

Handwritten letter by Paul Vanderborght to Cavafy on the rectos of two sheets. Blank versos. The second page is numbered. The author refers to an imminent event in honour of the poet and asks him to participate in the committee on Rupert Brooke. The letter is accompanied by a typewritten text on one side of a sheet, regarding the erection of a monument to Brooke on Skyros. (Cairo)

Typewritten letter by Nicolas Calas (Nico Calamaris) to Alekos Singopoulo on the recto of two sheets. Blank versos. Calas proposes Cavafy's poems be published in the United States, translated by Mavrogordatos and with an introduction by Yourcenar. He refers Singopoulo to the publishing house so as to arrange the financial matters of the publication. He asks that a photograph of Cavafy be sent and refers to common acquaintances of theirs. Handwritten letter by Mike Ralli to Cavafy in two bifolios, with notes on all sides. It is a reply to a letter he had received. Commentary on events and people of the broader social circle of Alexandria. Information about the author's personal matters, entertainment and free time habits as well as financial matters that trouble him. Reference to the eyesight problem he is facing as well as to his intention to publish texts in the journal Tit Bits in order to complement his income.

Handwritten letter by John Mavrogordato to Cavafy on both sides of a sheet. The author asks Cavafy to send him his latest poems and comments on the way one may acquire access to them. Reference to the poem "Before Time Could Alter Them" and to the journal Protoporia. Accompanied by the envelope which contained the letter. (London)

Reference to Pavlos Gneftos as well as to the publication of the National Diary 1898, which is to include poems by Cavafy.
