Handwritten copy of a letter by Cavafy to Grigorios Xenopoulos in a bifolio with text on all sides. Cavafy emphatically expresses his contentment for the article by Xenopoulos about himself. He also refers to a new poem that he encloses for Xenopoulos, without naming it, and notes that he has sent the same poem to the journal Panathinaia for publication.

The item was found enclosed in a folder marked "Cavafy's letter to Xenopoulos (1903)". Regarding the dating: G. P. Savvidis mentions an undated draft letter by Cavafy to Xenopoulos, in which the poet's contentment is expressed regarding an article by Xenopoulos in the Panathinaia, which he dates in 1904 without absolute certainty.
