The series contains one file further subdivided into three sub-files. It contains the -mostly handwritten- prose texts and poems that had been sent to the journal for publication, letters by authors and intellectuals to the editors as well as handwritten lists with the names of authors and publishing houses of Athens.

++Subseries 1++ contains Cavafy's personal correspondence in two files. File 17 contains the outgoing correspondence (in four sub-files) and file 18 the incoming correspondence (in three sub-files). ++Subseries 2++ comprises Cavafy's family correspondence and includes three files. File 19 contains the outgoing correspondence, file 20 the incoming correspondence (in three sub-files), while file 21 contains the correspondence among Cavafy family members and between family members and third parties. ++Subseries 3++ includes the poet's general correspondence and is divided into two files. File 22 contains the incoming and outgoing official correspondence (in two sub-files), while file 23 contains the correspondence among third parties.

The series comprises two files. The first file (24) contains Cavafy's diary-type manuscripts. They are related to his trips outside Egypt as well as to the illnesses and deaths of family members and friends. The second file (25) comprises eight sub-files which contain documents of legal nature (1); genealogical documents regarding the poet's family (2); Cavafy's handwritten notes on financial matters (3); personal notes by the poet (4); various items related to members of his family (5); ephemera (6); printed media and Press clippings (7); works by third parties, two of which are the poet's brothers (8).

The series of the Personal Papers of Alekos and Rica Singopoulo comprises five files. File 01 contains documents produced by Alekos and Rica Singopoulo which shed light on the personality and poetic work of Cavafy. File 02 (comprising three sub-files) contains the correspondence of the Singopoulos with the poet and with third parties, as well as Alekos Sigopoulo's correspondence with a British publishing house regarding the first collective edition of Cavafy's poems in English. File 03 comprises items relating to other activities of the Singopoulos as well as personal documents. File 04 contains the collection of photographs in possession of Alekos and Rica Singopoulo. File 05 comprises the sketches depicting Cavafy in possession of Alekos Singopoulo.

The series comprises one file which includes three sub-files. The photographic collection contains personal photographs of Cavafy, photographs of members of his family, as well as photographic portraits of third persons, most of them unidentified.

File 1: Manuscript poems (poems written by Cavafy and copies submitted to the publisher). File 2: Printed poems (pamphlets and broadsheets, poetry collections). File 3: Lists of poems and distribution lists of issues and poetry collections (poem titles and thematic categories, lists of publications of his works and distribution lists compiled by Cavafy).

The series is arranged in three files (4-6), which contain the prose works of C. P. Cavafy. File 4 contains handwritten literary texts. File 5 includes texts of critique and essay-type texts (articles, studies, etc.), some of which are incomplete or in the form of notes. File 6 contains Cavafy's handwritten notes on a dictionary of unusual words and neologisms compiled by himself.

The first file of the series (12) contains translations of Cavafy's poems into English, made by John Cavafy, Georgios A. Valassopoulo, etc. The second file (13) contains the translations of Cavafy's poems into French, Italian and Dutch. The third file of the series (14) contains texts and studies by third persons on Cavafy, while the next file (15) contains Cavafy's poems set to music by G. Poniridy and D. Mitropoulos. The last file (16) contains sketches by third persons, depicting the poet.
