The series comprises two files. The first file (24) contains Cavafy's diary-type manuscripts. They are related to his trips outside Egypt as well as to the illnesses and deaths of family members and friends. The second file (25) comprises eight sub-files which contain documents of legal nature (1); genealogical documents regarding the poet's family (2); Cavafy's handwritten notes on financial matters (3); personal notes by the poet (4); various items related to members of his family (5); ephemera (6); printed media and Press clippings (7); works by third parties, two of which are the poet's brothers (8).
