Cavafy Poems", and the indication "Alexandria 1915-1925". The last date is written by the poet. On the last page of the paper bifolio, handwritten dedication by Cavafy to A. Vlachopoulos. A blank sheet follows; eighty-four loose broadsheets and another blank sheet, all initially bound with paperclip, as indicated by the holes at top left of each sheet. At top right of the recto of the broadsheets, sequential printed numbering ("2" to "76"), occasionally corrected by the poet. Between sheets "17" and "18", inserted sheet with polygraphed typewritten translation of the poem "One of Their Gods" by G. Valassopoulo, with notes by Cavafy. The poems are printed on papers of various qualites and with fonts of various sizes, on paper of the Kasimatis & Ionas and Mitsanis printing houses dating to the period 1919-1925. Table of contents with poem titles in chronological order, in two columns. The last three titles on the first page of the contents are handwritten by Cavafy, as are all the titles on the second page. Handwritten emendations in two of the poems.

The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house (one was printed at the Mitsanis printing house) in the period 1919-1924. Sheet serving as front cover, with the handwritten title "Cavafy Poems (1915-1925)", not written by the poet. Below that, written by another person, the note: "Gray is missing". In the centre of the page, rubber stamp of the journal Nea Techni of Athens. At bottom right the note, in a different handwriting than the other two, "Cavafy's songs, Alexandria 1924" has been crossed out. Blank sheet at the end, in lieu of a back cover. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas and Mitsanis printing houses in the period 1919-1925. Some of them mention the month of publication (August, October, December 1920; March, June, September, December 1921; February, December 1922; May, 4 September, 2 November 1923; 3 January, 7 July, 9 December 1924; 20 January 1925).
