Commentary on the agreement between the two parties and the translation work per se, with references to G. Valassopoulo, E. M. Forster and L. Woolf. Cancellations and emendations. Page numbers are indicated (2-5). Attached to the document is a note on the blank side of a small-size advertisement card, with writing indicating the printed and handwritten parts of the (original) text.

Handwritten copy of a receipt for £3,30 from the director of The Nation and Athenaeum for the April 1924 collaboration, by Cavafy's hand (6/6/1924). Printed accompanying note regarding the despatch of a checque for £3,30 from the management of the journal on 26/5/1924. The date, amount, Cavafy's name and month are handwritten.

Handmade folder of paperboard folded into a bifolio. The first page indicates that it contains correspondence with The Hogarth Press publishing house, letters by P. Anastasiadis, G. Valassopoulo and others, and press clippings as well as clippings from journals in which Cavafy's poems had been published. The list of contents has not been written by the poet (most probably by Rica Singopoulo). Second folder of larger dimensions with the indication "Translations - Correspondence with 'The Hogarth Press' publishing house", written by G. A. Papoutsakis.

Typewritten letter by Charles Prentice (C. H. C. Prentice) to E. M. Forster on one side of two letterheads of the Chatto & Windus publishing house of London. The other sides are blank. Prentice, one of the partners of the publishing house, expresses his interest in the English publication of Cavafy's poems and details to Forster the financial terms proposed by their house. The letter is accompanied by two sheets with the handwritten addresses of Furness, of Forster and of the publishing house, by one sheet with the names of Furness and Forster as well as by two pieces of paper with the handwritten addresses of Mavrogordatos and The Hogarth Press publishing house.
