Accompanied by a second sheet with a quote from a study by J. N. Mavrogordatos with reference to Cavafy and his work (London, MacMillan & Co, 1931). (Athens)

Typewritten list of books on the recto of twelve sheets, in two copies. Sheets 2 to 12 are numbered at top left. Blank versos. Notes on the titles of one of the copies. All editions are in English. Dictionaries, historical and literary books as well as editions of Greek and Roman authors.

Non-Greek publications, mostly literary and historical; among them, a luxury Japanese edition of Cavafy's poems in French. The dates mentioned cover the period 1758-1928.

Forster; they have been written in French by Rica Singopoulo and they obviously come from his interview with the Tachydromos of Alexandria. Extensive handwritten notes by Forster in English and handwritten notes by Cavafy in pencil. Pages 2-4 are numbered. Cancellations. List of Forster's works by Forster compiled by himself on paper.
