Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ5) comprising 69 poems on 78 loose printed broadsheets. Double-sheet of paperboard in lieu of cover with the printed title "C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1915-1924". The second date is handwritten by Cavafy. A second double-sheet follows, the first page of which serves as the title page; the second page is blank; the last two pages contain the table of contents, arranged chronologically in two columns. The last titles in the second column as well as the titles in the last page are handwritten by the poet. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house (one was printed at the Mitsanis printing house) in the period 1919-1924. Handwritten emendation in one of the poems and handwritten dedication by Cavafy to G. Petrontas on the verso of the title page.

The collection contains twenty-one poems. Page numbers are indicated ("3" to "39") at centre bottom of the sheets. Handwritten emendations by Cavafy in some of the poems (pages "12, 20, 23, 29, 31-32, 36"). The table of contents and the last blank page are missing; the verso of the latter bore the details of the printing house (Kasimatis & Ionas). The bifolio constituting the front and back covers has been detached. The book is accompanied by two Press clippings. One is from the Tachydromos of Alexandria, dated 13/4/1958, and contains an article by Manolis Gialourakis, entitled "Perimenontas tous varvarous. Ligoselidi syllogi tou C. P. Cavafy", pertaining to the poetry collection of 1904. The other clipping, from the newspaper Vima, dated 10/10/1968, contains an article by G. N. Kranidiotis entitled "Anekdota poiimata tou Cavafy".
