Undated photographic portrait of Cavafy by the photo shop of Fettel & Bernard in Alexandria, in two copies. The poet has a mustache, he wears a suit with a necktie and glasses. The logo of the photo workshop on the verso as well as handwritten dedication by Cavafy to his friend, Pericles Anastasiadis. The photograph should be dated circa 1896, due to the striking resemblance to another similar photograph, dated by Cavafy in that year.
