Handwritten letter by Paul Cavafy to C. P. Cavafy from Hyères, France, according to the letterhead, on two sheets; the last page is blank. Paul comments extensively on his dire financial situation and his debts, noting that he might be imprisoned unless he settles his obligations. He also refers to the matter of his pension and wonders whether it has been seized by his creditors, while he asks the poet to communicate with him. Of note is the use of English words and phrases.
