Handwritten diary-type letter by Stephen Schilizzi to Cavafy on all sides of a bifolio and of one loose sheet. It is a reply to a letter by the poet. The author describes in detail his experience on the island of Tinos (criticising what he observed in the church of the Evangelistria and the domination of the religious element) as well the conditions of his stay on Syros. Description of life in Alexandria after the bombardment; mention of people and events. Reference to the newspaper Omonoia and to Edmond About's La Grèce contemporaine.
