Handwritten note on the poem "Ode & Elegy of the Streets" in a sheet made of two pieces of paper affixed onto a third one (at top right of the blank verso, another affixed piece of paper), as well as in two other pieces of paper. On one of the two, date at the bottom of the verso and number "2" on the recto, at top right. The notes are linguistic remarks and references to Ptochoprodromus and to folk songs (published by Passow) as well as to poems by Cavafy ("Walls", "In the Cemetery").

On one side of the second sheet, the poem "Alexandrian Merchant" handwritten by Cavafy. crossed out untitled poem, also handwritten by Cavafy, on the other side. Number "23" at top right. The sides of the sheets with the poems "The Lagid's Hospitality" and "Alexandrian Merchant" were initially pasted together. The titles have been underlined and there is a line in red ink below the poems.
