Poem titles. The poem "But Wise Men Apprehend What Is Imminent" is given under the title it was first written ("Forthcoming"). References to the Illustrated Egyptian Calendar (of Alexandria) and to the Egyptian Calendar (Arg. Drakopoulos, Alexandria). Two different signatures of Cavafy are observed ("C. P. Cavafy" and "C. F. Cavafy").
