Printed edition of the music Dimitris Mitropoulos composed on Cavafy’s poetry, titled 10 Inventions. There is a printed dedication “To Alkis Thrylos” on the first page. On the top left of the third page (numbered “1”), the composer’s written dedication towards the illegible name of a person [Minni Bamiero (?)], dated 11/3/1927. The poems set to music are the following: “Far Off”, “To Stay”, “That They Come”, “The Next Table”, “Days of 1903”, “Gray”, “In the Street”, “The Afternoon Sun”, “I’ve Gazed So Much–“ and “I Went”. The French translations of the above poems are published on the last three pages.

The names of individuals are recorded in chronological order (1929-1933); next to the names is the number of issues sent to each of them as well as notes by Cavafy regarding the person who mediates for the acquisition of the issue or who will be the final recipient; the profession of certain individuals is also recorded. At the top of the list it is stated that the distribution started on 6 September 1929. The total of issues distributed is noted at the end of each page and then it is carried forward to the top of the next one.

Handwritten letter by G. A. Papoutsakis to Rica Singopoulo on one side of two sheets. The other sides are blank. The sender informs Rica Singopoulo, who is in Athens, about the denial of Christoforos Nomikos to become a member of the executive committee of the "Friends of Cavafy" and about the process to replace him with A. Symeonidis. He encloses copies of letters by S. Stavrinos, A. Symeonidis and Alkis Thrylos. They all express their satisfaction regarding the establishment of the group (as a matter of fact, the first one nominates two new members) and agree to become its members.

Comments on the interruption of correspondence between Vaianos and Cavfy, on publications regarding the poet in newspapers and periodicals as well as on the issue of awarding a "Prize of Excellence" on behalf of the Greek Government. Handwritten letter by Tellos Agras to Cavafy in a bifolio of the Ministry of Agriculture (the printed details have been crossed out) with notes on all sides. Cavafy's poetic work is commented upon extensively; remarks regarding the publications until that time and reference to poem titles ("Candles", "Waiting for the Barbarians" etc.). Also recorded are the author's views on the genre classification of Cavafy's work as well as his intention to proceed with a relevant publication. (Athens)

Two (digitally reproduced) handwritten letters by Dimitri Mitropoulos to Cavafy, sent from Athens. In the first letter (15/7/1926), in four numbered pages, he informs Cavafy about the setting to music of poems of his and asks for their translations into French. In the second letter (16/8/1926) he thanks him for the despatch of the French translations.

It is a record of thoughts, criticisms and episodes from Cavafy's life with date indications covering the period 28 March 1926-16 April 1930. Reference to the Grammata publishing house, to the journals Libre, Nea Zoi, Nea Techni, Panathinaia, Alexandrini Techni, Nea Epitheorisi and La Semaine égyptienne, to the newspapers I Proia, Tachydromos of Alexandria, Ethnos and The Times as well as to the Delphic Festival, the Nobel Prize, the work I politeia kai i monaxia by K. Palamas, the study O Palamas filosofos by D. Vezanis, the poem "Tragoudi gia tin Eleni" by S. Skipis and the books Skepsi kai zoi by A. Panagiotatou and [Ta gynaikeia pathi.] Afrodisia nosimata by A. Syngelakis. Eftychia Zelita is mentioned as having written down the notes. There is, however, a second handwritng, which is probably that of Makis Antaios, a person who appears to be reproducing the specific episodes.

The proceedings of the second meeting, held in the same place, also on one side of three sheets. Draft of the letter the "Friends" would send to intellectuals who would wish to become members of the group; draft Press release.

Handwritten untitled text on the recto of two ruled sheets, taken from a notepad. Blank versos. The text is most likely written by Rica Singopoulo. Pages "2" to "12" are numbered at top centre. The text analyses and presents Cavafy's poetic work, with references to poets, writers and critics.

Handwritten notes and short letters by Cavafy to Nikos and Eftychia Zelita, on seventeen parts of sheets of various sizes, cards and small pieces of paper. One side of some is blank. Date indications ("13/8/28", "26 Feb. 926" and illegible note) on three of the sheets. Reference to the Grammata publishing house of Alexandria, to Cavafy's collection (the Collection 1907-1915 is referred to by name) as well as the newspaper I Laiki Foni newspaper of Volos. The messages usually pertain to a meeting among them or some other sort of favour.
