Reference to Grigorios Xenopoulos and Napoleon Lapathiotis. While commenting on the social life in Alexandria, Cavafy mentions a lecture by Christopher Scaife on A. Tennyson, while he informs Singopoulo about his encounters with George Valassopoulo and Nanis Panagiotopoulos. He also wants to know whether Marios Vaianos received the issues of his poems, as they were sent to him by the periodical Grammata.
