          Cavafy comments positively on the current issue of the Semaine Égyptienne (June 1928), which includes a publication of the Kerenia Koukla by Konstantinos Christomanos, translated by Giannis Papas. He also mentions the commentary on the issue in the newspaper Tachydromos; he expresses his dislike regarding the meagre references in the Tachydromos to his own work in the Semaine Égyptienne. He also refers to the journal Panorama and to the progress of the activities of Alexandrini Techni.
