Cavafy Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910" as well as the note "Englished by J. C. Cavafy", handwritten by John Cavafy. The date has been crossed out and corrected to 1917, also by John. The contents of the volume are not recorded. The volume layout includes the printed broadsheets with the poems in Greek and their handwritten English translation. Publication dates are marked on the broadsheets: "1914, 1915, 1916". Fifteen poems have been translated. Few cancellations and emendations. Some of the emendations on small-size papers, pasted on the emended word or phrase. The metal staples of the binding are missing. The unmarked cover is made of paperboard.
