Printed eight-page pamphlet with the poem "Waiting for the Barbarians". The first page serves as a front cover. The poem title at top left; the name of the Lagoudakis printing house and the year of publication at bottom right. The text of the poem occupies pages 3 to 5. The poet's signature and the indication "December 1898" in the lower part of the fifth page. Pages 2 and 6 to 8 are blank. Accompanied by 19 copies, one of which has a front cover of paperboard.
