              Printed edition of the music Dimitris Mitropoulos composed on Cavafy’s poetry, titled 10 Inventions. There is a printed dedication “To Alkis Thrylos” on the first page. On the top left of the third page (numbered “1”), the composer’s written dedication towards the illegible name of a person [Minni Bamiero (?)], dated 11/3/1927. The poems set to music are the following: “Far Off”, “To Stay”, “That They Come”, “The Next Table”, “Days of 1903”, “Gray”, “In the Street”, “The Afternoon Sun”, “I’ve Gazed So Much–“ and “I Went”. The French translations of the above poems are published on the last three pages.

              Handwritten letter by G. A. Papoutsakis to Rica Singopoulo, on both sides of three sheets. Page numbers "2" through "6 at top right. The sender refers to the impending publication of Cavafy's poems by the Singopoulos. Having been informed that Rica Singopoulo, who is in Athens, is concerned with the spelling of certain words in the poems, he refers in detail to Cavafy's way of writing and advises to maintain it unchanged. He also updates her on the staffing of the executive committee of the "Friends of Cavafy". (Alexandria)

              Two (digitally reproduced) handwritten letters by Dimitri Mitropoulos to Cavafy, sent from Athens. In the first letter (15/7/1926), in four numbered pages, he informs Cavafy about the setting to music of poems of his and asks for their translations into French. In the second letter (16/8/1926) he thanks him for the despatch of the French translations.
