              Printed bifolio entitled "C. P. Cavafy Poems". It is a table of contents of a poetry collection by Cavafy from the 1910-1918 period ("8" in the last date has been corrected in ink at the bottom right of the first page). On the third page, printed list of poems in chronological order until the first title of 1916. From the second poem of 1916 until the poems of 1918, the titles and page numbers are handwritten by Cavafy and continue on to the fourth page. The second page is blank. On the third and fourth pages, handwritten notes by Singopoulo. Accompanied by seven broadsheets with poems by Cavafy, with handwritten comments by Singopoulo as well as manuscript cancellations and emendations by Cavafy. All broadsheets were printed in 1916. Copy of the poem "That Is He", written by Singopoulo on one side of a sheet. All prints are placed in a handmade folder of paperboard.

On the cover, the title "Cavafy Poems" in gold letters inside a gold border. On the "title page", the note "Poems written in Greek by C. P. Cavafy translated by J. C. Cavafy" and the indication "Alexandria 1916". It is followed by five pages of contents and the poems in English. The pages are numbered ("i-v" and "1-64") at bottom centre. The volume includes forty-three poems, all typewritten. Only in two instances, when a quote from an ancient author is include, the Greek text has been handwritten by John Cavafy. In that case, John has added his English translation, copied from a publication, on an piece of paper covering the Greek text.

The poet replies to a letter by Photiadès and expresses his thanks for the latter's appreciation. He praises and extensively comments on the book by Photiadès on Maria Kalergi, often using short quotes in French. He also praises and comments on another book by Photiadès, on the French poet Pierre de Ronsard. Finally, he informs the sender about the despatch of three of his poems in Greek and of six French translations by Aison Kyriacopoulo and Rica Singopoulo. On the first page of the notepaper, the title and handwritten dedication by Aison Kyriacopoulo, Cavafy's translator, to the poet. On the third page, the penultimate of the document, the titles of the translated poems, by way of an index. The poems contained (a total of 11) are fewer than the poems in the index (12). Handwritten corrections on the typewritten text. The title "But Wise Men Apprehend What Is Imminent", the quote before the poem and the index are all written in Greek.

The collection contains 40 poems and consists of 100 pages; inserted sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order. Numbering at top right of the recto of each sheet, rather than on each page. Some of the numbers have been corrected by hand. The poems are printed on different dates during the 1925-1930 period, and with fonts of various sizes. Five copies. Handwritten dedication by Cavafy to the playwright Pantelis Horn in the title page of one of the copies. The inserted sheet of this copy contains the titles of three poems, handwritten. Number "5" in the dates "1905" and "1915" on the front cover is handwritten rather than printed. Handwritten dedication by Cavafy to Kostas Miniakis in the title page of the second copy. Its cover is of a different colour from that of the other two copies.

The "title page" is made of a cover from the 1910 poetry collection of Cavafy, with the printed title "C. P. Cavafy's Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910". Below the word "Poems", the handwritten note by John Cavafy "Englished by J. C. Cavafy". It is preceded by a quote of unknown authorship and followed by four pages of contents, with the poem titles in English. They are followed by the English translations of the poems. A total of forty-three of Cavafy's poems are translated. Their titles are either typewritten or handwritten. In some instances, there are inserted printed broadsheets with the poems in Greek or parts of prints affixed on the existing pages. Cancellations and emendations in most translations, be they handwritten or typewritten. The date indication "1912" on one of the broadsheets.               Cavafy's collection containing 25 poems of the 1910-1915 period. Two pieces of paperboard are used as front and back covers. On the cover, the title: "C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1910-1915", handwritten by the poet. The original date was "1914", corrected to read "1915" in ink of a different colour. Inside, two blank sheets and then 25 broadsheets, all numbered by hand at top right of the recto; 24 of them are printed. The broadsheets were printed at two different printing houses (Kasimatis & Ionas and M. C. Fakos) and date to 1914 and 1915.

              Cavafy's poetry collection containing 57 poems of the 1912-1920 period. A piece of paperboard folded in half is used as front and back covers. On the cover, the printed title: "C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1912-1920". The original date "1919" has been corrected by Cavafy to "1920", in ink.
              On the inside, printed title page repeating the details on the cover. The end date was originally printed "19" and handwritten "16"; it was corrected by hand to "1920". Two blank sheets follow. On the recto of the first sheet, the handwritten note: "Missing: As Much As You Can 7[.] Imenus 56". The printed broadsheets containing the poems follow, numbered at top right of the recto (1 to 59 – sheets 7 and 56 are missing). The numbering is mostly printed, in a few instances handwritten, and in some it has been corrected by hand. The verso of all broadsheets is blank. The poems are followed by a blank sheet and printed table of contents in chronological order, in two columns. The contents page is part of the sheet also containing the title page. The poem titles are preceded by a mark in pencil. The 1919 titles are crossed out, while three of them are handwritten. Two 1919 poem titles and a 1920 poem title are handwritten on the verso of the contents page and have been crossed out. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house (Alexandria) during the 1917-1920 period (five of them also mention the month of printing: two in July 1919, and one each in September 1919, December 1919 and March 1920).

The 1916 titles are handwritten by Cavafy, except for the first one. The 1917 poem titles are also handwritten as well as those of 1918, which are written on the verso of the contents page. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1914-1918. Two of them, "Far Off" (No 23) and "One Night" (No 28), also bear a first print indication (1914 and 1915, respectively).
