Archivist's note
Archivist's note
Regarding the translation of poems by Cavafy, Singopoulo urges Mavrogordatos to adopt the timeline structure of the 1935 edition of the Collected Works (>A403). He also informs him that this edition has been sold out since 1941 and a new edition is planned by an Athenian publishing house. Moreover, Singopoulo refers to the translations of Papoutsakis and the translation of Cavafy's work into French.
