Homemade book consisting of typewritten sheets, printed broadsheets and manuscripts. The "title page" is made of a cover from the 1910 poetry collection of Cavafy, with the printed title "C. P. Cavafy's Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910". Below the word "Poems", the handwritten note by John Cavafy "Englished by J. C. Cavafy". It is preceded by a quote of unknown authorship and followed by four pages of contents, with the poem titles in English. They are followed by the English translations of the poems. A total of forty-three of Cavafy's poems are translated. Their titles are either typewritten or handwritten. In some instances, there are inserted printed broadsheets with the poems in Greek or parts of prints affixed on the existing pages. Cancellations and emendations in most translations, be they handwritten or typewritten. The date indication "1912" on one of the broadsheets. The 71 pages of the book are numbered, either typewritten or handwritten. The printed broadsheets are not included in the page numbering. The front and back covers are blank.

The Greek text of the poem "The City" on a page cut off from the journal Nea Zoi; that of the poem "The God Abandons Antony" on a page cut off from a 1911 issue of the journal Grammata. Four pages of contents in Greek and English, numbered "41" and "42". The pages of contents in Greek have been cut off from the printed poetry collection. They are followed by the English translations of another nine poems, without page numbering. The last two are not accompanied by Greek text. A total of thirty poems have been translated. The first date (initially "1916") has been corrected by the poet, and the second is handwritten. The same details are repeated on the title page, on which, however, the date is correct ("1919"). A blank sheet has most likely been cut off. On the first blank page, handwritten dedication by Marios Vaianos to Angelos Troupakis in red pencil, dated "1.7.30". The collection consists of bound printed broadsheets and contains sixty-one poems. The poems are numbered at top right, in print or by hand, occasionally corrected by the poet. Handwritten cancellations and emendations by Cavafy in some of the poems. The collection also contains a printed folding sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order. The title of the last poem is handwritten by Cavafy. The broasheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1925-1929. On some of them there is full date of printing and on some others the date of first print. Accompanied by signed certificate and kept in a box made of hard fabric-lined paperboard.

Alexandria 1919-1930" in its first page (the first date has been corrected from 1916 to 1919, the second is handwritten and corrected from 1929 to 1930 by the poet). A second doube-sheet follows, the first page of which serves as the title page; the second page is blank; the last two pages contain the table of contents. A blank sheet follows; 76 broadsheets containing 64 poems and another blank sheet. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house during the 1925-1930 period. Handwritten emendation in the second date of the title page (from 1929 to 1930) and in the text of a poem. The titles and page numbers of the last three poems of 1929 and all poems of 1930 in the table of contents are handwritten by Cavafy. All sheets have a hole made by metal paperclip at the top left of the recto.

Some of the emendations on small-size papers, pasted on the emended word or phrase. The metal staples of the binding are missing. The unmarked cover is made of paperboard.

Collection of poems by Cavafy, comprising 44 loose printed broadsheets, with 40 poems on the recto. The verso of all sheets is blank, except for one, which bears handwritten notes. They have all been printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house during the period 1917-1920. Two of the broadsheets have an indication of the month in which they were printed (July 1919). They bear printed numbering (3-41) at top right of the recto, crossed out and corrected on several instances in ink by Cavafy. The first poem ("But Wise Men Apprehend What Is Imminent") bears the number 14, crossed out in ink. The next poem ("In the Entrance of the Café") bears the number "3" (corrected by hand from the printed "16"). From there on, the numbering is sequential. There is no front cover, rear cover or table of contents. Handwritten notes by Tellos Agras in pencil on some of the broadsheets. A hole at top left of all sheets indicates that they were bound using a paperclip. Accompanied by envelope.
