            Poetry collection by Cavafy (Γ7) comprising 69 poems on 76 loose printed broadsheets. Double-sheet of paperboard in lieu of cover, with the printed title "C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1916-1926" on its first page (the second date has been added by hand). A second double-sheet follows, the first page of which serves as the title page (the second date has been added by hand); the second page is blank; the last two pages contain the table of contents, arranged chronologically by year (1916-1926), with handwritten additions for the year 1926. A blank sheet follows, the 76 printed sheets, followed by one more blank sheet. The poems are numbered in print at top right, their numbering corrected in many instances by the poet. The sheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in Alexandria (one was printed at the Mitsanis printing house). Additional information regarding the year in which they were first printed (1920-1926) is mentioned in some cases.

            Printed poetry collection by Cavafy, comprising bound broadsheets, printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house. It contains 28 poems and consists of 64 pages; inserted sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order. Numbering at top right of the recto of each sheet, rather than on each page. Some of the numbers have been corrected by hand. The poems are printed on different dates during the 1926-1929 period, and with fonts of various sizes. In one of the poems ("To Pleasure", sheet 20) there is a handwritten addition in the third verse, while the fourth one has been crossed out. Five copies. One of them was donated to the Center for Neo-Hellenic Studies by the journalist Giannis Marinos, while it had originally been given by Cavafy to Dimitrios Charitatos (see letter in an envelope included in the copy). The inserted sheet of this copy contains the titles of three poems, handwritten.

The verso of all sheets is blank. The sheets are numbered sequentially ("2" to "30") at top right of the recto, usually in print but occasionally corrected by Cavafy. The poems are printed on papers of various qualites and with fonts of various sizes. On the title page of the first copy, handwritten dedication by the poet to Tellos Agras. Cancellation and emendation by Cavafy in the poem "To Pleasure". Handwritten notes in pencil on the cover, underlinings and notes in the poems, some with references to publications by Dimaras, handwritten by Agras. The sheets have been detached. On the second copy, handwritten dedication by Marios Vaianos to Christos Angelomatis, dated "28.8.31". The broadsheets were printed during the period 1927-1930. It also contains an inserted sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order.

Handwritten dedication by Cavafy to the playwright Pantelis Horn in the title page of one of the copies. The inserted sheet of this copy contains the titles of three poems, handwritten. Number "5" in the dates "1905" and "1915" on the front cover is handwritten rather than printed. Handwritten dedication by Cavafy to Kostas Miniakis in the title page of the second copy. Its cover is of a different colour from that of the other two copies.

On the "title page" (made of a cover from the 1910 poetry collection of Cavafy) the title "C. P. Cavafy Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910" as well as the note "[Englished by J. C. Cavafy]", handwritten by John Cavafy below the word "Poems". On the interior of the cover, another handwritten note by John Cavafy dated "14 May 1911". It is followed by the poems, each with the printed text in Greek and the typewritten English translation. The page numbering is common for both languages. The Greek text of the poem "The City" on a page cut off from the journal Nea Zoi and that of the poem "The God Abandons Antony" on a page cut off from the journal Grammata. Four pages of contents in Greek and in English, numbered "41" and "42". The pages of contents in Greek have been cut off from a printed poetry collection. They are followed by the English translations of another five poems, without page numbering. A total of twenty-six poems have been translated. Handwritten cancellations and emendations in the typewritten poems.

The "title page" is made of a cover from the 1910 poetry collection of Cavafy, with the printed title "C. P. Cavafy's Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910". Below the word "Poems", the handwritten note by John Cavafy "Englished by J. C. Cavafy". It is preceded by a quote of unknown authorship and followed by four pages of contents, with the poem titles in English. They are followed by the English translations of the poems. A total of forty-three of Cavafy's poems are translated. Their titles are either typewritten or handwritten. In some instances, there are inserted printed broadsheets with the poems in Greek or parts of prints affixed on the existing pages. Cancellations and emendations in most translations, be they handwritten or typewritten. The date indication "1912" on one of the broadsheets. The 71 pages of the book are numbered, either typewritten or handwritten. The printed broadsheets are not included in the page numbering. The front and back covers are blank.

Inside, two blank sheets and then 25 broadsheets, all numbered by hand at top right of the recto; 24 of them are printed. The poem "Alexandrian Kings" handwritten on two sheets with page numbering "13α', β'". The verso of all broadsheets is blank, except for that of sheet 13α' which bears a handwritten note by Cavafy. Handwritten cancellation and emendation in one of the poems ("Far Off", sheet 23). The poems are followed by a blank sheet and a printed table of contents in chronological order, in two columns. The broadsheets were printed at two different printing houses (Kasimatis & Ionas and M. C. Fakos) and date to 1914 and 1915.

A blank sheet has most likely been cut off. On the first blank page, handwritten dedication by Marios Vaianos to Angelos Troupakis in red pencil, dated "1.7.30". The collection consists of bound printed broadsheets and contains sixty-one poems. The poems are numbered at top right, in print or by hand, occasionally corrected by the poet. Handwritten cancellations and emendations by Cavafy in some of the poems. The collection also contains a printed folding sheet with the poem titles in two columns and in chronological order. The title of the last poem is handwritten by Cavafy. The broasheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1925-1929.             On the inside, printed title page repeating the details on the cover. The end date was originally printed "19" and handwritten "16"; it was corrected by hand to "1920". Two blank sheets follow. On the recto of the first sheet, the handwritten note: "Missing: As Much As You Can 7[.] Imenus 56". The printed broadsheets containing the poems follow, numbered at top right of the recto (1 to 59 – sheets 7 and 56 are missing). The numbering is mostly printed, in a few instances handwritten, and in some it has been corrected by hand. The verso of all broadsheets is blank. The poems are followed by a blank sheet and printed table of contents in chronological order, in two columns. The contents page is part of the sheet also containing the title page. The poem titles are preceded by a mark in pencil. The 1919 titles are crossed out, while three of them are handwritten. Two 1919 poem titles and a 1920 poem title are handwritten on the verso of the contents page and have been crossed out. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house (Alexandria) during the 1917-1920 period (five of them also mention the month of printing: two in July 1919, and one each in September 1919, December 1919 and March 1920).

Cavafy", handwritten by John Cavafy. The date has been crossed out and corrected to 1917, also by John. The contents of the volume are not recorded. The volume layout includes the printed broadsheets with the poems in Greek and their handwritten English translation. Publication dates are marked on the broadsheets: "1914, 1915, 1916". Fifteen poems have been translated. Few cancellations and emendations. Some of the emendations on small-size papers, pasted on the emended word or phrase. The metal staples of the binding are missing. The unmarked cover is made of paperboard.

It contains 21 poems and comprises a total of 46 pages, of which 3 to 39 are sequentially numbered; [40] is blank, without numbering and followed by pages 41-42 with the Contents. Two copies. One of the copies contains an inserted sheet with the poem "Walls" on the recto and page number "40". The poem is written by Rica Singopoulo and is not included in print in any of the copies. Its title has been filled-in by hand in the table of contents as well (page 42). Handwritten dedication by Cavafy Vlasis Gavriilidis in the title page of the second copy. Each copy is printed on paper of different quality.

            Cavafy's poetry collection containing 54 poems of the 1910-1918 period. A piece of paperboard folded in half is used as front and back covers. On the cover, the printed title: "C. P. Cavafy Poems. Alexandria 1910-1918". The original date indication "1917" has been corrected by hand to "1918", in ink. On the inside, printed title page repeating the details on the cover. The end date was originally printed "1916" and corrected twice by hand to "1917" and "1918". A blank sheet follows and then printed broadsheets containing the poems, numbered at top right of the recto. The numbering is mostly printed, in a few instances handwritten, and in some it has been corrected by hand. The verso of all broadsheets is blank. The poems are followed by a blank sheet and a printed table of contents in chronological order, in two columns. The contents page is part of the sheet also containing the title page. The 1916 titles are handwritten by Cavafy, except for the first one. The 1917 poem titles are also handwritten as well as those of 1918, which are written on the verso of the contents page. The broadsheets were printed at the Kasimatis & Ionas printing house in the period 1914-1918. Two of them, "Far Off" (No 23) and "One Night" (No 28), also bear a first print indication (1914 and 1915, respectively).

One is from the Tachydromos of Alexandria, dated 13/4/1958, and contains an article by Manolis Gialourakis, entitled "Perimenontas tous varvarous. Ligoselidi syllogi tou C. P. On the top left of the third page (numbered “1”), the composer’s written dedication towards the illegible name of a person [Minni Bamiero (?)], dated 11/3/1927. The poems set to music are the following: “Far Off”, “To Stay”, “That They Come”, “The Next Table”, “Days of 1903”, “Gray”, “In the Street”, “The Afternoon Sun”, “I’ve Gazed So Much–“ and “I Went”. The French translations of the above poems are published on the last three pages.
