            Printed edition of the music Dimitris Mitropoulos composed on Cavafy’s poetry, titled 10 Inventions. There is a printed dedication “To Alkis Thrylos” on the first page. On the top left of the third page (numbered “1”), the composer’s written dedication towards the illegible name of a person [Minni Bamiero (?)], dated 11/3/1927. The poems set to music are the following: “Far Off”, “To Stay”, “That They Come”, “The Next Table”, “Days of 1903”, “Gray”, “In the Street”, “The Afternoon Sun”, “I’ve Gazed So Much–“ and “I Went”. The French translations of the above poems are published on the last three pages.

            Draft of written letter by Cavafy to Tellos Agras in single page, with notes, erasures, and corrections on recto and verso. Cavafy thanks Agras for supporting his work and provides clarifications as to the poem collection that he had sent him in the past. At the same time, he offers detailed information on the way his poems are distributed, while he speaks warmly of the special feature to his work in the journal Nea Techni, in which Agras also took part. Cavafy also encloses a list with the chronological order of his poems and a clipping of Alexandrini Techni with his printed poems. Finally, he sends two copies of the poem “Days of 1901”.
