On the top left of the third page (numbered “1”), the composer’s written dedication towards the illegible name of a person [Minni Bamiero (?)], dated 11/3/1927. The poems set to music are the following: “Far Off”, “To Stay”, “That They Come”, “The Next Table”, “Days of 1903”, “Gray”, “In the Street”, “The Afternoon Sun”, “I’ve Gazed So Much–“ and “I Went”.             Printed poetry collection by Cavafy (Β2). On the paperboard cover, the title "C. P. Cavafy Poems" and the indication "Alexandria 1910". The word "Poems", in the centre of the first page. The collection contains twenty-one poems. Page numbers are indicated ("3" to "39") at centre bottom of the sheets. Handwritten emendations by Cavafy in some of the poems (pages "12, 20, 23, 29, 31-32, 36"). The table of contents and the last blank page are missing; the verso of the latter bore the details of the printing house (Kasimatis & Ionas). The bifolio constituting the front and back covers has been detached. The book is accompanied by two Press clippings. One is from the Tachydromos of Alexandria, dated 13/4/1958, and contains an article by Manolis Gialourakis, entitled "Perimenontas tous varvarous. Ligoselidi syllogi tou C. P. Cavafy", pertaining to the poetry collection of 1904. The other clipping, from the newspaper Vima, dated 10/10/1968, contains an article by G. N. Kranidiotis entitled "Anekdota poiimata tou Cavafy".

On the first page of the notepaper, the title and handwritten dedication by Aison Kyriacopoulo, Cavafy's translator, to the poet. On the third page, the penultimate of the document, the titles of the translated poems, by way of an index. The poems contained (a total of 11) are fewer than the poems in the index (12). Handwritten corrections on the typewritten text. The title "But Wise Men Apprehend What Is Imminent", the quote before the poem and the index are all written in Greek.

            Handwritten diary from Cavafy's trip to Greece during the period 13 June-5 August 1901. It is written in English, on 31 sheets of various sizes, among which letterheads of the Khedivial Mail Steamship Company, the Grand Hotel d'Angleterre in Athens, the Grand Hotels of Faliron and Patras as well as the Austrian Lloyd (Oesterreichischer Lloyd). It also includes a draft plan of the central part of the city of Patras (part of the entry of on 31 July), with the street names in Greek. The diary contains daily entries by Cavafy, in which he describes his trip by boat to and from Alexandria as well as his activities, acquaintances, social encounters and impressions from Athens and the other places he visited.

On the eleventh page another rhymed text starts, entitled "I Keratsa", which continues on another four pages. At the end of the text, is its creator's name, "Il[ias] Tantalidis". The last two pages of the booklet are blank. It is accompanied by a twelve-page school notebook. They are all occupied by the rhymed text "I mpogada", with the name P. Cavafy underneath the title, on the first page and at the end of the text, on the last one. The two booklets are placed in a handmade folder of paperboard.
